Our theme is “Growth” in honor of the Full Buck Moon on this day.
“The full Moon in July is called the Buck Moon because the antlers of male deer (bucks) are in full-growth mode at this time. Bucks shed and regrow their antlers each year, producing a larger and more impressive set as the years go by.” [Source]
How do you define or identify your own growth?
What is a story of growing for you? Was the change gradual or sudden?
In what different ways can you look back and see your own transformation?
How do your contextualize your own growth and that of those closest to you?
Did you measure your height against a doorframe or wall growing up?
What other ways do you recall measuring growth of different kinds?
What does growth mean to you? What words or images do you associate with growth?
Is maturation always a positive for you? Are there downsides to growth?
Beyond personal growth, what other stories of growth do you have: collective? societal? political? global? natural? artificial?
When you attend a playback performance you are invited to bring a moment or story from your life to share and watch honored through the art of playback!

What to prepare for:
Online solo playback performances are intimate gatherings that ask for your full participation. Free to register over zoom, and a pay-what-you-wish $0-$25 option for those who feel called to donate after the show. There is no pressure to pay and I welcome you to attend regardless of whether or not you pay. Your presence is a gift, truly. I cannot have a show without you!
Register over zoom using the button below and join the meeting a couple minutes early (the room opens 10 minutes before the start) to ensure your connection.
Plan on keeping your video ON and participating at times in 1-1 breakout sessions.
Think about a story or moment you would volunteer for a playback.
Plan on being present for the 75 minute duration. Please avoid arriving late and leaving early.
