On Thursday, January 26th join local Maine Nia Teachers, Fae Spath and Erin Curren, along with Wild Seed Project specialist, Nell Houde, for an informative, fun, action-packed online class and info session focused on Resilience!
8:15am Nell presents the Wild Seed Project mission, and answers your questions!
8:30am Erin and Fae teach a 1 hour-long movement class called Nia, fitness for body, mind, emotions, and spirit! Barefoot movement encouraged!
We will be modeling seated as well as standing Nia: All fitness levels welcome!
9:30am We step out sharing gratitudes and inspired to donate to and get involved with Wild Seed Project!
The Nia Technique celebrates 40 years this year as the first barefoot fusion fitness class! Nia is based on the Body's Way, moving systemically with pleasure, sensing and connecting mindfully through the dance arts, martial arts and healing arts. Fae Spath is a Nia Blue Belt Teacher, currently teaching at the Portland YMCA. Erin Curren is a Nia First Degree Black Belt Teacher, currently teaching at the Westbrook Community Center, and over Zoom. Both Erin and Fae have been practicing Nia for well over a decade... Join them for this fun, healing, aerobic workout from the comfort of your home space!
