Nia at Common Ground!

That’s right, for the first time in two years I will be offering Nia under the Whole Life Tent at MOFGA’s famous Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine! Hooray!

Join me Friday, September 23rd at 10am on the fairgrounds in Unity for this 45-minute “Taste of Nia”. We’ll experience and explore together the five sensations of fitness, or FAMSS:

  • FLEXIBILITY: sensed as energy moving outward; elastic quality

  • AGILITY: sensed as a dynamic shifting of energy; start-stop sensation

  • MOBILITY: sensed as energy in constant motion; continuous flow through and around the joints

  • STRENGTH: sensed as energy moving inward; positive tension

  • STABILITY: sensed as a calmness and readiness for action; equalizing muscular contraction and relaxation

Curious about these descriptions?

How do these sensations feel in YOUR body? What are the conditioning benefits of each? Why practice sensing and distinguishing between these? Join me September 23rd to find out!

Spread the word, invite your friends, shout it from the barn tops! There is no additional cost to this experience—the price of admission to the fair is all you need! Get all the details here… See you under the Whole Life Tent!
